Lantern is in a private, invite-only beta run by Lantern Child Technologies LLC. This notice explains what happens to information during the beta.
Use made-up information only. Please do not enter real children's names, real families, health details or any other real personal information. The beta is for testing, not for running a real daycare.
What we collect: the name, email address and password you sign up with, whatever test data you enter, and basic technical data (like error reports) that helps us fix problems.
How we use it: to run the beta, to contact you about it, and to improve Lantern. We do not use it for advertising.
Who helps us run Lantern: hosting, database, file storage, email delivery and error-monitoring providers process data for us so the service works. Payments are in test mode during the beta; no real card is charged.
Cookies: the beta app uses only the cookies needed to keep you signed in. This website uses no cookies and no analytics.
When the beta ends: all beta data is deleted before Lantern launches. Nothing from the beta moves to the live service.
